Built in the 19th Century, this historic property was last painted in 2006 and was in very poor condition.  Flaking paint to all elevations and bare and damaged woodwork throughout-this project took a huge amount of preparation prior to painting.  Many of the windows and doors were burned back to bare timber, extensively re puttied and walls scraped back, filled and stabilised.  A primer coat was then carried out to bare timber and then twoundercoat and flexible external satin to complete the protection.  The masonry had stabilising solution and three coats of masonry applied and the railings were transformed with three coats of smooth metal paint.  This now beautiful building will be protected for many years to come.
